It is great to know that XXVI Annual International Conference scheduled to be held from January 11 to 12, 2025 is on the main theme: “Viksit Bharat @ 2047” along with the sub themes of Technical Sessions
Bharat (India) is moving at a fast pace on its journey to become Developed Bharat (India) by 2027 when Independent Bharat (India) would be celebrating 100 years of Independence from 15th August 1947. Although at one point of time contribution of Bharat was 33% in global trade for more thean 1000 years and Bharat was known as Golden Bird. Now again Bharat has become the fifth largest economy of the world leaving behind United Kingdom. The Prime Minister of UK is also of Indian Origin Rishi Sunak. Many people of Indian origin are leading multi-national companies in the world like Google, etc.
The hosting of G20 in the most inclusive way has proved the leadership of Bharat in a significant way and also the logo with the traditional Bharatiya (Indian) thought (“Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”) One Earth-One Family-One Future.
During the toughest time of this century i.e., COVID 19 period, Bharat has proved the leadership acumen not only in saving lives in Bharat by free vaccination to every citizen but also to help other countries with vaccines produced in Bharat (India).
The worldwide celebration of 10th International Day of Yoga on June 21, 2024 is a testimony of soft power of Bharat for which Bharat is known from ages. The theme of this year was “Yoga for Self and Society.” The purpose is not to only celebrate it on one day and forget about it, instead, it should become way of life for each citizen of the world. Bharat is known as the spiritual capital of the world and now in many fields, Bharat is taking lead like, ICT, Pharmacy, etc.
The world is witnessing the global warming symptoms more than what it has witnessed in the past. That is why the world has recognized the need for MDGs followed by Sustainable Development Goals 2030. This means that Bharat has to focus on mindful development instead of mindless growth which many developed countries have done in the past decades. The journey of Bharat in becoming developed Bharat again has to work within these constraints. NITI Aayog is monitoring the attainment of 17 SDGs in Bharat (India). Keeping this challenge in mind, the technical sessions of the Conference have been framed.
All of you are invited to contribute in a meaning way in the development of Bharat and also contribute in writing for the upcoming conference. Your thought leadership is an important aspect in making Viksit Bharat and we would like to give due importance to the same.
